Cassie Nordgren is a director, choreographer, and teaching artist specializing in musical theatre, physical storytelling, and dance. A two-time finalist for the Capezio A.C.E. Awards, she served as SDCF Observer for Josh Bergasse on the Broadway revival of On the Town. Her choreography appears in two feature films: Waiting in the Wings (featuring Shirley Jones) and its sequel, Still Waiting (featuring Seth Rudetsky and Chita Rivera).

Cassie founded ThruLines, a nonprofit dance initiative in Washington Heights dedicated to uniting diverse audiences through movement. Her original works include ALEXA (Inwood Art Works) and The Last Bite (United Palace Theatre). She also produced the Danza Highbridge Festival (NYC) and produced the digital showcase Danza: Fish Out of Water.

Her choreography has been seen Off-Broadway and regionally at venues including Center REPertory Theatre (Theatre Bay Area Award nomination), Cabrillo Stage, and Sierra Rep. Cassie holds an M.F.A. in Directing from Baylor University and a B.S. in Theatre for Social Change from CUNY. Cassie has taught nationwide and is currently teaching at Columbia College in Chicago, where she is based.
