Jess Frazier holds a B.A. in Writing for the Media and Journalism from UMass Amherst and a M.A. in Arts Management at Baruch College. She got her start in development writing grants for ballet companies she performed with in the Philadelphia and New York areas. She further developed her interest in fundraising while interning at American Ballet Theatre (Institutional Support) and New York Live Arts (Artist Services). Jess spent three years working at Dance Theatre of Harlem as Development Associate and later Assistant Manager, Development Operations. She currently works at YoungArts focusing on individual giving (appeals) as well as government and foundation grants. For her master’s degree thesis, she created a four year strategic plan for Boulder Ballet.
