Unbound Dance Collective is a non-profit contemporary dance company based in New York City. Rooted in artistic expression and dedicated to community, our mission is to provide a home for exploration, evolution, and exchange: – We create a space to question and learn with humility and without limitations – We cultivate growth within ourselves and our art – We collaborate with curiosity to foster an inclusive and dynamic environment Our vision is to offer training and performance opportunities for artists and continuously grow with the needs of the community we serve.

Programming / Repertoire / Offerings

Unbound Dance Collective is a nonprofit contemporary dance company based in NYC focused on artistic exploration, evolution, and exchange. Our rehearsals, classes, and performances take place on evenings and weekends to allow advanced dancers with careers outside of dance performance to continue to pursue dance at a professional level.

In addition to the company, UDC is committed to offering accessible training opportunities and maintaining a vibrant dance community. To this end, we continue to host an ongoing workshop series, Unfold, throughout the performance season. Additionally, we maintain an online forum of company members and community members/regular workshop attendees to coordinate taking classes together, going to shows, etc. to further foster community. We hope to provide a positive space for continuous growth and artistry for both company members and members of our extended community.

We have performed in 30-30-30 at Dixon Place and will be hosting our first performance, Ebb & Flow, at Triskelion Arts on April 5.
