About us

Houghton Hall Arts Community is a new rehearsal and arts management facility in the NoMad neighborhood of midtown Manhattan. Our community is a strong, collaborative group of artists, independent and non-profit theatre companies, and arts entrepreneurs helping one another persevere and thrive in the competitive New York artistic marketplace.

Programming / Repertoire / Offerings

Houghton Hall offers 17,000 square feet of offices, rehearsal rooms, dance studios, and meeting space to performing arts organizations, teachers, actors, and other arts professionals. Rehearsal rooms are from 250-1,750 square feet and are available by the hour or by the day.

Our most popular offerings for dance are the Joseph Jefferson Studio and Edwin Booth Studio; more information is available at our website.

Jefferson: a 31’ x 32’ studio with 15’ ceilings, a wall of windows, a wall of mirrors, and a wooden floor

Booth: a 16’ x 30’6” studio with 12’ ceilings, a wall of windows, a wall of mirrors, and a sprung floor
