Louise Coleman is a New York-based dancer-choreographer. Louise’s work questions the distinction between the mundane and human, research and performance, and silliness and pleasure. Her work has been performed at the Jack Crystal Theater and will soon be shown at Fertile Ground Green Space. She received her highschool education from Interlochen Arts Academy where she received the Outstanding Achievement Award for Dance, and will receive her BFA in Dance from New York University Tisch School of the Arts this spring. As a dancer she has performed works by and in collaboration with Ashley Chen (La Mama), Annie Rigney, Bebe Miller, Sean Curran, and others. She has also had the pleasure of playing lead roles in various student films. Louise looks forward to continuing her journey as a choreographer and dancer in the city.
