is a dance artist, intuitive card reader and meditation teacher. She began her journey as a professional ballerina with Ballet West II and Nevada Ballet Theater performing lead roles such as the Little Mermaid,Ursula and the Evil Step Mother. Mercedes performed The Nutcracker on The Kennedy Center stage and danced with Cirque De Soleil artists for NBT’s Choreographer’s Showcase in Las Vegas. She graduated from the University of Utah receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Modern dance. During her time in school she started her choreographic, screen dance and photographic journey. Shortly after graduating, Mercedes got hired as a guest performer for Bare Bait Dance Company’s fall season in 2022. Alongside her dance career, she has devoted herself to the inward journey and has studied all she can about the intuitive arts. Mercedes is a certified yoga instructor and an oracle card reader. One of her modalities includes guiding people through movement and meditation. She has taught meditation to ballerinas for the past three summers at the Ballet West Academy Summer Intensive to enhance the mind’s of the dancer. Mercedes just moved to NYC to pursue more of her dance dreams!
