Parenting is Political
Parenting is Political is a digital project that seeks to shift the conversations and narratives that surround family and parenting. We present culture-influencing conversations via our podcast. We celebrate the resilience and beauty of families otherwise rejected and prejudiced against by the myth of the “traditional/nuclear family”.
Staceyann Chin
Activist/Writer/Poet and Performer, Staceyann Chin, shares life/parenting/love lessons; Living Room Protests are short conversations with her daughter Zuri. Use these conversations to jump start discussions with your children, (all ages) in classrooms, or at work. Or just watch for cute and entertaining discussions with a radical mama and her little warrior girl.
Grantmakers in the Arts
